Before and After Salvation…

Before I was saved and believed in Jesus: “I don’t feel right in this world. It feels awkward just “pretending” to have a “good day” and give people excuses for why I told them NO. I know I wasn’t made just to make money but I don’t know how to live “different from the rats race that I hate.”

After I was saved by believing in Jesus: “I was not supposed to belong in this world anyway, I’m glad I never could “fit” in. Everyday is the day of the LORD so I’m always good in Him. Now I understand things and how He works so I’m not bothered by people and circumstances anymore. I’m not going to lie just so you’re comfortable with being around me; too much comfort and complacency kills. I’m blessed to have been made over and born again so that I can pursue less shallow things like chasing after money and attention.

Which one are you sounding like? If it’s the first way then call out to Jesus to gain Him and His wisdom. He tells you to come to Him with your burdens and He will give you rest. When you have called out to Him in your heart you will also let Him in as He is standing at the door and knocking…dine with Him.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
- Revelation 3:20
